Corinne Babcock - Listing Broker and CEO

In 2013, Corinne was appointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti, to serve as a Commissioner on the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Commission.  With an Investment Portfolio Market Value of $22B (as of March 2018) her fiduciary responsibility is vast.  In 2018, she was elected by her colleagues to serve as the Board President, and in 2017 served as Board Vice President.


Corinne is the co-Founder and President of Cova Partners, LLC, a certified women, minority and small business enterprise.  Cova provides construction and project management to primes, subcontractors, property owners, and public entities.


Prior to forming Cova, Corinne was a Vice President of Asset Management overseeing a privately-held commercial real estate portfolio comprised of government, office and retail users.  She has served at the highest levels of federal government, including the United States Senate, Presidential conventions, administrations, and has formed national non-profit organizations.


She is a graduate of Georgetown University, and holds certificates in real estate with a concentration in investments from the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Southern California. Corinne is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California, and an avid golfer, active with the Latina Golfers Association.

Joanne Carras - Shareholder and Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of the Grapevine companies, Joanne Carras assists the Listing Broker with the implementation of strategic organizational plans and directs members of the Grapevine Realty team to carry out the mission in a cost-efficient manner. As the CFO, she manages the financial affairs of the Grapevine companies, forecasting financial requirements, managing accounting issues, debt and investment structures and investor relations. She also oversees all of the company legal issues, contracts and develops and implements the leasing and management goals. Joanne has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since 1983 and a licensed General Contractor since 2012.

Efren Valdovinos - Senior Associate

Efren Valdovinos’ objective at Grapevine Realty is to accomplish the investment goals of his clients. He maintains partnerships with associates and professional organizations in the industry to provide a network of resources. He develops customized campaigns for each client he serves by utilizing the best technologies while addressing the needs of each investor's circumstances.

Mr. Valdovinos brings value to clients after having successfully served the commercial real estate needs of investors in the multifamily and commercial industries. Prior to transiotioning his career to brokerage, Mr. Valdovinos operated a wholesale business specializing in Mexcian groceries and goods, based in downtown Los Angeles, this enterprise further developed Mr. Valdovinos’ business acumen. Mr. Valdovinos’ work history includes serving as a Project Manager for the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, as a Field Deputy for a U.S. Congress Member, and as a District Representative for a California Assemblyman. 

A native of Los Angeles, he is looking forward to honing his profession by utilizing his knowledge in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and finance.  


Mr. Valdovinos is real estate licensed by the state of California, graduated from Long Beach State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and earned a Certificate in Real Estate Development & Finance from USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate

Richard Brody - Sales Associate and Marketing Assistance

Rick Brody joined Grapevine Realty in 2018 after receiving his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Arizona State University. His focus is on commercial retail leasing in Southern California and assists in the property management of several properties.  He earned his Real Estate License in early 2018 and is the Director of Business Development with Grapevine Development, learning real estate from both a Developer's and Realty Agency's perspective.
